What happens after I complete the lesson enquiry form?
Once we receive your enquiry, we carefully assess your requirements and match you with a suitable tutor. Your tutor will then contact you directly to arrange your free introductory session.
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
We understand that occasional cancellations are unavoidable. We ask for at least 6 hours notice; otherwise, the full lesson fee may still be payable.
How do online lessons work, and what will I need?
Our online lessons are delivered via Zoom. You’ll simply need a free Zoom account on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Your tutor will provide a meeting link or login details before the lesson. We also recommend having paper, pens, and a calculator available where appropriate.
How do I pay for my lessons?
Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer after each lesson. Bank details are included in the terms and conditions sent by email. We can also provide monthly invoices upon request.
How do you select your tutors?
We have a rigorous recruitment process to ensure the highest standards. All tutors are carefully vetted, highly knowledgeable in their subject areas, and fully DBS checked.
Is it possible to switch tutors?
Of course! Finding the right tutor is really important, and we want every student to feel comfortable and confident in their lessons. If you feel your tutor isn’t quite the right fit, just let us know and we’ll happily match you with someone else.
Where do face-to-face lessons take place and how should I prepare?
Face-to-face lessons take place in the comfort of your own home, with your tutor travelling to you. To get the most out of each session, we recommend having a quiet, distraction-free workspace ready, along with any equipment or materials needed for the lesson. Your tutor will let you know in advance if there’s anything specific you’ll need.
